F U N C T I O N\u00a0 <\/span>B O O K I N G\u00a0 <\/span>T E R M S

<\/b><\/b><\/p>

1.1. The restaurant quotes are only valid for seven (7) days from the date of issue, whereafter such quotation will expire automatically.<\/p>

1.2. Should the Client wish to proceed with the booking process, the restaurant will furnish an invoice in accordance with the items selected and the payment schedule below.<\/p>

1.3. In order to confirm your booking a deposit of R1500.00 will need to be paid. This deposit will be paid towards your venue hire.<\/p>

1.4. We do not charge a venue hire on Weekdays \u2013 Monday to Thursday (Excludes Public Holidays and December). We do not charge any venue hire for bookings after 18h00 on Friday, Saturday and Sundays. In the above cases, the deposit paid will then be deducted off your final bill on the day of the function.<\/b><\/p>

1.5. The function venue is available for 3 hours \u2013 any overtime after this allocation will be billed at a rate of R1000 per hour.<\/p>

1.6. No food or beverages will be permitted to be brought into the venue. If you would like to bring a cake or cupcakes, please note that we charge a Cakage fee of R10.00 per person.<\/p>

1.7. Our private section and menu is strictly for functions of 20 people or more. If your function falls below 20 people on the day, you will no longer have the space privately and other guests will be allowed to be seated around you.<\/b><\/p>

1.8. The venue does not supply any d\u00e9cor for the function in the form of placemats, vases, flowers, fabric napkins, balloons, tablecloths or runners.<\/p>

1.9. The venue can supply white tablecloths for the food table.<\/p>

1.10. The restaurant staff is not permitted to assist with the set up of any d\u00e9cor, carrying d\u00e9cor from or to vehicles, or storing d\u00e9cor after the function is complete.<\/p>

1.11. No d\u00e9cor is permitted to be stuck on the walls or hung from the ceiling. No Prestik or double-sided tape will be permitted to be used. A fine of R500 will be charged for any damage caused to the restaurant property because of non-compliance with this clause.<\/p>

1.12. No PA System, sound system or mic will be permitted to be used within the store unless previously agreed by Just Darling in advance.<\/p>

1.13. Should you wish to bring in a wine that is not listed on our wine list, please note a corkage will be charged at R130 per bottle.<\/p>

P A Y M E N T\u00a0 <\/span>S C H E D U L E\u00a0 <\/span>F O R\u00a0 <\/span>F U N C T I O N<\/b><\/b><\/p>

\u00a0<\/p>

Upon booking: Fifty per cent (50%) of the total amount on the Invoice is required as a deposit to secure the venue and date.<\/p>

Day of the function: Balance of the total invoice plus any additions and overtime due.<\/p>

2.1. Once the payment has cleared in the restaurant\u2019s bank account, the Event Coordinator will send to the Client an email confirming acceptance of the booking.<\/p>

2.2. In the event of non-payment of the fees within the specified time contemplated in clause 1.1 above, the restaurant shall be entitled to cancel this Agreement due to non-compliance, without further notice or liability to the Client. All monies paid are non-refundable.<\/p>

2.4. Interest on any late payments will be charged at the ruling bank prime overdraft rate plus two per cent (2%).<\/p>

2.5. Should any additional guests arrive on the day of the function, the Client will be informed and will be liable to pay the full amount due on the day of the function, in which case the restaurant will not be liable if the table settings are not sufficient.<\/p>

2.6. No cash payments will be accepted by the Restaurant.<\/p>

CANCELLATION SCHEDULE FOR FUNCTIONS

<\/b><\/b><\/p>

  • More than two weeks (14) days before the function: One hundred per cent (100%) refund due.<\/p><\/li>

  • Four days or more (4) days\u2019 notice: Fifty per cent (50%) charge of the total Invoice is non-refundable, the difference refundable.<\/p><\/li>

  • Less than Three Days (3) days\u2019 notice: One hundred per cent (100%) charge of the total invoice is due for payment, and no refund.<\/p><\/li><\/ul>
